In The Beginning: Mortar and Pixel
Everything has a beginning. Take Carl for example. He was birthed from an Anatidae which spat fire, brimstone, and quite possibly something Bjork wore once. But this isn't about Carl the duck. No. This is about our beloved Hotel and it's own beginning. It is said that there used to be a place where hotels could run free along the plains before they were captured and tamed. It is also said that the hotel began as a single pixel and grew out of it's own will. We've also been told that the hotel was built from mysterious elements by other worldly creators. So. We pose this question to you. What was Habbo Hotel like... in the beginning?
This is your task. Imagine and create the hotel at its beginning. Did the hotel even start out as a hotel or was it something completely different? And, how did it look? Perhaps it wasn't even made with... *gasp* pixels! For that reason we're giving you a little more creative freedom medium wise this time around. That means, if you feel using a pencil and paper works best for your idea you may do so. Of course using good old pixel art is great too. We know what the hotel looks like now and from our pre flash version hotel views so don't use those. Cave drawings? a barn? Something inside John Malkovich's head!? We're talking at its very inception. Let your creativity go all willy nilly with this theme SeaazhUK and good luck!
